Preserving our past,
preparing our future.
I’m proud to be Amesbury’s Mayor. The first native, the first female, and the youngest person to be entrusted to lead our wonderful City. I grew up here, I’m a graduate of our public schools and I’ve worked for and with our businesses. I believe that Amesbury is a unique and beautiful place to live, work and play.
The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged us in ways we hadn’t thought of, but we got through it together. My team at the City worked to support our residents and businesses through this tough time, while also moving many important projects forward.
I continue to believe that we must preserve our past while also preparing for our future, and I’ve weaved this into everything we’re doing at the City. From the budget process and capital planning, to the the I AMesbury 2030 task force and branding, preserving our open space, initiating department reorganizations, upgrading our technology and IT infrastructure, we’ve worked to put Amesbury in the best possible position to move forward together.
We have achieved so much already, and I know that we will do so much more with the momentum we have going for us. I will continue to champion the best of who we are and what we stand for. I will continue to be transparent and communicative about how we are moving forward together. I will continue to tell Amesbury’s incredible story.
Thank you for your support and your belief in the amazing things we can do together.
